Welcome as a member of Bostadsrättsföreningen Kubik.

Below is a summary of the most important information.

Electricity contract

You need your own electricity contract to get electricity in the apartment. If the electricity stops working when you move in, this is most likely the reason. Contact Göteborg Energi.

Broadband and TV

The association has an agreement with Telia and broadband and TV are included in your annual fee.

Read more about activation and upgrading here.

Post box and entry phone

Normally, our property manager updates the name on the apartment register, mailbox, door and entry phone the week after moving in. If this has not happened, you can make a fault report.

Monthly payment notice

If you are missing your monthly payment notice, please contact our financial management service.

Fault report

All information about different types of error reports can be found here.

Maintenance

If something is broken in your apartment, you are most likely responsible for fixing it yourself.

Read more about who is responsible for what here.

Reconstruction

To make changes to your apartment, always contact the board. Read more here.

Subletting

If you want to sublet your apartment, permission from the board is required. Read more here.

Sound considerations

Sound considerations apply around the clock but especially:

  • Sunday - Thursday 22.00 - 08.00
  • Friday - Saturday 23.00 - 08.00

Noisy work (e.g. drilling and hammering) must take place:

  • Monday - Friday 08:00 - 18:00
  • Saturday - Sunday 10:00 - 17:00

On public holidays (red days) and the day before public holidays, no noisy work is allowed.

Read more here about what to do if you are disturbed.

Fire safety

Read this leaflet on how to protect yourself from fire at home.

Waste and recycling

The waste and recycling house is not for bulky waste but for food waste, residual waste and packaging recycling. There is a container twice a year (spring/autumn) and a collection of Christmas trees.

Packaging recycling does not mean that all things made of paper, plastic, metal or glass should be put there, but only those that are packaging.

It is absolutely forbidden to put anything on the floor. If the bins are full and the lids cannot be closed, you have to wait until they are empty.

More detailed information can be found here.

Well-being rules

The association has a number of rules of behaviour. Here are some of the most common ones, but all the rules can be read here.

Safety and security

Check that the gate and front door in the property are locked after entering and leaving and do not let any unknown person into the property.

Nothing may be stored in the stairwells for fire safety and evacuation reasons. This also applies to doormats.

Balconies and patios

Balconies and patios may not be used for permanent storage of objects that are not part of normal balcony furniture.

Wind protection on balconies and patios must be awning fabric and follow the colour of the facade (grey/black).

The use of electric grills is permitted on balconies and patios. No other types of grills.

Pets

Pets may not be walked in the courtyard or directly adjacent to the property.

Tenant-owner insurance

The association has a collective tenant-owner insurance as a supplement to the property insurance.

The tenant-owner does not need to have such additional insurance.

Communal premises

To get access to the association's common room Orangeriet, you need to sign an agreement.
